Derrica Wilson is a powerhouse in the realms of authorship, entrepreneurship, and law enforcement, boasting a remarkable career spanning over 22 years dedicated to community service.

In 2008, she co-founded the Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. (BAMFI), a national organization tackling the urgent and troubling issue of missing persons of color. Additionally, Derrica is the co-founder and Managing Partner of BAMFI Enterprises, a production company that specializes in creating impactful content for television, film, and digital streaming platforms with a focus on missing persons of color as well real-life challenges affecting the BIPOC communities. Her contributions have been showcased in partnership with notable networks such as HBO, Lifetime, and Apple TV.

As the Executive Producer of the podcast "Untold Stories: Black and Missing," Derrica and her team has steered the series to impressive accolades, including two Gold Telly Awards and the Clue Award for Best Episodic Podcast Series. Her dedication to advocacy and storytelling has earned her multiple honors, including the inaugural CrimeCon’s Crime Fighter of the Year Award.
